Roy, I made folding doors out of plywood. I cut one big piece to slide in where the hatch boards normally go. Then cut out two doors from the top, leaving a u-shape piece of ply as the main frame. The doors were attached with piano hinge and had screens with removable covers installed from the inside. The covers were held in place by wood cleats. I beveled the cuts so water would drain away. The whole piece slides out when you want to keep it more secure with hatch boards. Bill
