Congratulations on bringing the new baby home! The "pin" for attaching the mast on my M17 is a 3/8" (I believe) ss bolt with a wing nut. The bolt goes through the slot and the hole near the base of the mast. I am still wondering about a lot of things. Most importantly I realized this morning on my first attempt to unraveal and step the mast, that I cant find the mast pin. My mast has one hole approx. 6" from the bottom and the "plate" has both a slide and a bolt hole. does the mast attach thru the slide or the single hole? | 0| single hole | || | side view | || | slide |_____| I am looking at close-ups of mast foot photos but can not find any gilbert _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
