For those who wanted a first hand look at a new Montgomery 17 we will have one on display during the Annapolis Sailboat Show. (dry land space 69B) The show runs from October 6 the 10th. I've already heard from many who will stop by and say hello and I look forward to meeting some M_boat owners. Also, Walt Wood who owns a sailing school in Annapolis, will be working at the Montgomery boats display. The boat on display is Walts new boat and for anyone who wants to test sail or view a new Montgomery 17, Walt can arrange it. Walt can also check out people on the M_17 as well as teach them how to sail. This is a great opportunity for East coast sailors/buyers who would like to see and sail a boat first hand. This boat has the Idasailor Rudder and has the Marelon Shut off valves for the cockpit drains. (2). Come and take a look. Check out Walt's website: http://www.sailchesbay.com/pages/2/index.htm This has been a record year for us. We have been building and shipping boats non-stop. Shipping two at a time to the East coast. (a double load is much less expensive). Boats have been shipped/delivered, several at a time, to California,/Utah/New York/Florida/Alaska/Colorado/New Hampshire/ Maryland/Maine/Arizona/...etc And we have several more going to California/Washington/Florida/and 2 more to Utah. Utah wins the prize this year. Soon we will have 5 new model M_boats in Utah. We've had record heat wave this summer, many days the temps were 105, 107 etc. Because of this we have hired additional laminators who have helped get production going on those days we have to shut down laminating when the temps are high. Also the little M Dinghys are hot this year. We're doing several of the rowing dinghy (6-8) and we're installing a 'Walker Bay" sailing rig, the GAFF one as shown in this URL: http://www.walkerbay.com/sail_kits/8_recreation.php for a customer here in Long Beach, Ca. I enjoy customizing boats and the M_6-8 with this gaff rig should be salty. Speaking of Customizing......were almost finished with a new M_15 with a BLACK hull, WHITE deck. Pictures to follow on Bill's photo site.! http://www.msog.funtigo.com/?cr=1&rfm=y Fair winds Bob Eeg (949) 489-8227 Robert Eeg bobeeg@earthlink.net Why Wait?
