Re: M_Boats: Hull-deck joint - original post

I was the original poster of the question about the hull-deck joint on M17 #325. I went to check on it again today and found that the boat has been sold 30 minutes earlier for $3000. I looked briefly at the joint again, and it was pretty much as I described it originally -- a scallopy crack as far around the perimeter of the hull as I could see, below the joint bolts. I was going to offer a bit more if I had been reassured but now feel I wouldn't have wanted the boat as it was. It was otherwise quite nice though. Karl Krahnke Ft. Collins, CO
