How about genetically engineered interluxe eating microbes? The R&D would be high, but the satisfaction and potential royalties could be huge. ;^) I'd try stripping it first. Do I try to strip it from the millions of holes?...Sandblast it and destroy any remaining anodization? You get the idea.
