I have managed to generate a really tight line override on my centerboard winch on Sick Chicken - an M17. Occurred when pulling the boat for the winter. I am going to try to jack up the board on the trailer just a little to see if I can take any pressure off the line to help release it but wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions other than cutting it when out of the water and then replacing it when it’s fully down (on jack stands when I am doing the bottom). And any suggestions on replacing the line would be appreciated. Thanks! John Sick Chicken #375 Bellingham WA
