#164 sails again...or tried too. She hit the water this week for the first time in 26 years. We went but were basically becalmed. So I got practice and advice on setup and teardown. Two questions. I installed the new centerboard. The pin is flush on both sides. How do I ensure that the pin will not just fall out. Should I shorten it some and epoxy it in place? What is the correct angle for the mast? They way it was rigged seemed way to far forward to me. I mounted my side stays on the rear holes and my fwd stay as tight as I could.
