. . . you can't stop at one . . . So today I drove to Ohio and bought 1974 Montgomery 12' number 58 . . . Thanks again to those who posted notices for it on the list. The former owner was fantastic: Replaced the trailer lights and repacked the axle bearings, trailered the boat to a halfway point between Cleveland, OH and Lansing, MI, and loaned me his license plate and what must be an out-of-print account of an epic small-boat voyage.
