Ron Great Idea! What did you use for a hinge? I am thinking of reworking mine. It does eliminate the need of removing the board when you need to access the cabin for any reason, as I found out during my shake down cruise yesterday. Merry Helen II 96 M15 #602. Here's a few pictures of how I did mine.It swings back out of the way but is not necessary in order to put put the hatchway panels on. I have my radio mounted, which has GPS so I have speed and direction if needed. I have a depth sounder which is the kind that mounts on the inside of the haul and it works great. I also have a spot for my 5 minute timer for races. The button is my horn which has an in-line fuse bypassing the circuit panel so it's always live for when it's needed.
