M_Boats: Reply to; Below the cabin floor

Looking forward from the hatch toward the bulkhead. Under the bulkhead there was about a 1" gap down to the top of the steel punchings on the centerline of the boat. At the outer edges of the trunk, there is essentially no gap at the bulkhead. As you move aft, where the trunk protrudes from the floor there was no gap. The floor is approx.. 1/8 th inch thick and rests on the edge of each chine. Earl Landers
