John, I have had both. Provided there are enough rollers to carry the loads involved you can't beat them for easy launch and retrieve. My recently old M17 trailer had rollers on the keel and bunks on the sides. The rollers, alleviating some of the sliding friction helped there too. I plan to add three rollers to the keel bunkboard on my M17 trailer this winter. By leaving the rollers just proud of the rest of the keel bunkboard I won't have to worry about someday having the 150# keel slip down between the rollers and hang up the boat on the trailer. I see you have your M17 on an EZ Loader trailer. Is that a custom trailer, or one of their stock adjustable trailers?
And, how do you like the roller rig compared with bunks (if you ever had bunks)? Pros and cons?
