Whenever mixing metals in a humid environment, use a product called Never-Sieze. It's a heavy grease mixed with graphite. It prevents corrosion between sufaces. I've used it in the water treatment industry for 30 yrs and on my sailboat too. I tapped holes in the boom to attach bails and years later the screws came right out without any corrosion.
