I am definitely interested in both, John, would have to choose one or the
other, with the North Channel possibly more accessible. However,
it's very premature for me to respond. I'll follow your posts, because I
probably won't know how I'm going to use my limited summer vacation time until
next Spring. One possibility: A wilderness lake in Lake Superior
Provincial Park . . . If I try to write the name now, I'll slaughter it, but
I'll write again when I get it right . . . --Craig, M17 #389

Subject: Possible Montgomery
Rendezvous
It sounds like we are already in the planning season, so
here is an invite to anyone who wants to come along. Next summer, the
plan is to take Miss T back to the Apostle islands, and then on to the North
Channel of Lake Huron. It would be great to have a M-boat rendezvous at
either or both places. Is there any interest out there? Also as a
separate part of that trip, I plan to float the160 mile wild and scenic
stretch Missouri river (in canoes) in Montana with some friends. The
float is through the same region that Lewis and Clark 100 years ago. It is
also open to anyone who wants to come along.
