I have an older M-15 (1982) and you are correct the Thetford 135 is the model that was when Jerry built the boats. However, as you mentioned the Thetford 135 is no longer being manufactured. But, not to worry, If you buy the replacement model, which is slightly larger, you can remold the base to fit. All you need to do is fill the waste tank (base) with some boiling water. Apply downward pressure (sit on it) with the unit in place. Drink two beers (your choice) while the water cools. Empty the waste tank and you're all set. This is the process I used and it works beautifully.
