Hi, Andrei: We use a Sevylor Colorado inflatable canoe/kayak. It inflates fast with a high-capacity pump and paddles pretty well, considering that it's an inflatable (there's a skeg on the bottom for directional stability). It's nice and stable, and the nylon cover protects against punctures. However, it's fairly heavy and bulky to stow in the boat. Hi all,
last year when I went to the Apostle Islands I towed a hard-shell, sit on top kayak behind my M-17, and used it to explore around the islands (and I could've used it as a dinghy to go to shore if I wanted to). This year I may take my son with me, so I need something which seats two. I was looking at inflatable kayaks, like the Sea Eagle 330. Does anyone have experience with inflatable kayaks, how well they tow, and recommendations for which one to buy?
Thanks,
Andrei.
