If you go to judybsails or search judy b sails and drill all the way..click the dimensions tab...or I think you can also see dimensions on sailrite in the kit sails.

I agree that 24" is about a first reef except I do not reduce sail area.
That is why I think my sail is smaller to start with. Need to measure it
against a normal Monty Main sail plan. Where can I find info?

I assume 24 inches of host means 24 inches of hoist left in the main. That
should like a nice first reef to me. t
