I don't have a cb to look at, but by memory the 3/8 hole is centered in the radius, obviously at the upper forward corner. If it isn't exact and binds a little, you can always drill the hole out to, say, 1/2, or even redrill it and plug the wrong one up with epoxy. I say go for it! Bud Don't know what part of the country you reside in, but,,,,,,,,,you could mail the c/b to Bob Eeg and have him re-do it..........maybe you could sound out ( tap, tap ) the keel for the location of the pivot hole.......consider the fact that the c/b fits flush with the keel when retracted.......Hold it up to the keel for an idea where to start looking.
