Rodney - Do you have any photos of the boat, if so, would like to have a look at them, John O In a message dated 12/23/2008 6:37:31 P.M. I have been watching for a good Montromery 17 in this price range if it is in good condition. I live in San Antonio, and would like to drive over and take a look at it if it is what I am shopping for. Regards John O. In a message dated 12/23/2008 2:34:35 P.M. I will be moving to an area where trailer sailing is the only option and I don't want to trailer, so I'm selling this Monty I've only had 10 months. I've had it docked at my boathouse in freshwater on Lake Livingston for about 8 months. Sails are old, comes with a great 5hp Yamaha outboard, and is a beautiful boat! I bought from a boatyard owner friend who'd taken it on trade on a large boat, faired and painted the hull just one year ago. It's a beautiful deep royal blue. I've also done a first rate job of wooding down and finishing all brightwork with 8 coats of Epiphanes varnish. The boat is amazing looking for it's age. I basically rebuilt the trailer last year as well. Posting here first before I try other methods, because I know what a following this type boat has. The boat is near Houston, TX
