my experience is the stated weight by trailer manufactures are usually grossly under the actual trailer weight. -- :: Dave Scobie :: former M15 owner - www.freewebs.com/m15-named-scred :: M17 #375 SWEET PEA - www.m17-375.webs.com On Thu, Sep 24, 2015 at 11:26 AM, John Schinnerer <john@eco-living.net> wrote:
FYI the boat when weighed had all the essential sailing rigging and gear in it, including the outboard, boom, rudder, fenders, sails, PFDs and throw cushions, lines, misc. small items, but nothing much else. No battery as the one it came with was shot and I haven't replaced it yet.
One of the trailer documents (title or registration or something) has 250 as weight but I have no idea where that number came from. I think it is probably more like 350-400. I suppose it could be as much as 500, I'll weight it alone some day.
