I usee the old (now obsolete) Sparcraft 104 section on the 17, which it seems to me weighed about 1.3 lb per'. The 15 was the sparcraft 103, and I think it was right at 1 lb per'. The 104 is used on most of macgragor's boats, and also use by W D Schock, maybe on the Santana 20. jerry ----- Original Message ----- From: "jnschum" <jnschum@olympus.net> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, March 27, 2012 7:23 PM Subject: M_Boats: Mast clearance
http://www.msog.org/specs/mast_height.cfm gives a weight of mast per foot of 1.18 lbs for the M17.
I thought it was more like 1.5 lbs per foot. Can anyone confirm the correct weight. Might this be the M15 weight?
Thanks
Joe
