I took a couple of pictures of my traveler set up the other day. I tried a 2:1 purchase at first but came to the conclusion that I need at least 3:1. I used single blocks on the cockpit wall because that is what I had on hand. Double blocks would be a little tidier. The ends of the control lines are semi-permanently tied together so it is easy to release the leeward side with a flick of the wrist while pulling the car to windward. I scored the Harken traveler car for about $20 on eBay but had to pay double that for their proprietary track. I also had to add the u-adapters to attach the becket blocks to the car.
