You're also guaranteed to be shopping for his next book, A Shimmer On The Horizon, when you get back. It's especially enjoyable reading when you've sailed those waters he's writing about, like we've done on some of the Montgomery San Juan Rendezvous. Too bad you didn't make it into the Gulf Islands with us the year you came, but the San Juans are essentially the same, so you'll be able to ride along with him in you mind. :-) I'll be sailing to some of the places in his second book this June. Really looking forward to it. Another great read, but in a completely different style, is A Voyage Toward Vengance, by Jule Miller. A grumpy, but very likeable old guy sails through the Carribean trying to find out what happened to his daughter and son-in-law who disappeared while sailing there on their boat a couple years earlier. Lots of great sailing action, and great character development. This writer really knows his stuff. Enjoy, Larry Yake On Wed, Feb 11, 2015 at 6:53 AM, Thomas Buzzi <thomaspbuzzi@gmail.com> wrote:
Bones, Sitting on a beach reading "A Dream of Islands" is guaranteed to make you want to get back and explore with your Monty. Great idea. Tom B

I bought a copy of "Dream of Islands " as well. I'll be reading it in the Keys while on vacation next month. I wanted to look at the ocean while absorbing it.
