Charles:  The winds are starting lighten up on San Francisco Bay.  Winds pick up in the afternoons.  I sail the south bay and would not be the one to help you with east bay sailing.  Bob Becker would be an excellent source but I haven't seen his posts in many months.                 Rich Cottrell

Last spring we looked at the Bay from the shore while 30+ knot winds were
blowing. I will be hoping for more friendly weather.

I do know the wind blows hard under the bridge most afternoons.
