Thanks for the info Bill. I really enjoy being a part of this owner's group. Everyone is helpful, and I much enjoy the information and photos about the various boats and trips. I hope soon to be able to share my own such experiences with everyone else. Regards, Ron C. --- William Larson <deuce3window@sbcglobal.net> wrote:

By the way, I've seen photos of "Finally". She's a pretty boat. The maroon sheer stripe looks great.
Where do you sail her? Also, how did you treat the wood ( toe rails, companionway hatch boards, interior hatch covers)? I've looked at products like West Marine's "Wood Pro Plus" and Cetol's new "Natural Teak", as well as traditional varnishes, but am not sure which way to go. I would prefer to use teak oil on all the wood (easy and looks nice), but Bob Eeg says that the plywood pieces (ie. the companioway hatch boards and interior hatch covers) need a water sealing finish to prevent delamination of the plies.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I'm sure you will enjoy your M15. Bob uses Pattersn (sp) sails. You can contact them directly on the status of your's. I did when mine were being made and found them to be very nice lads and co-operative.I have their link on my work computer and will post their link monday. Maybe someone else has their link and/or phone # to post for you. Have fun Frank "FINALLY" # 63? Hello, Fellow Monty Owners and Admirers,
I took delivery of my new M15, Spirit, at the factory a few weeks ago, but minus the sails and interior cushions. Bob Eeg has had some delays in obtaining the sails and cushions from his suppliers. Nevertheless, I wanted to take the boat home to outfit her while the sails and cushions were being completed.
Bob assures me that both the sails and cushions will be ready shortly, so I hope soon to be able to describe the launch and first sail of Spirit on San Diego's Mission Bay--perhaps with photos attached.
The boat is beautiful (truly big boat construction and oversized hardware).
I will keep you all posted.
Regards,
Ron Casino
