BTW I was a dentist in Coos Bay before I moved to Salem. Loved the environment. Wife not so much, so moved back. Where are you located? Siltcoos has the most consistent wind of our coastal lakes. Shallow , but dunes to west are low there, so wind steady. But tenmile lake and woahink are beautiful too. Good fishing as well. Ed Sent from my iPhone

Hi John, I might swing up there for a visit while you're there. I'll contact you off list when I know for sure. Might even drag my M15 up for a day. Or maybe entice you to come down to Windy Bay to go out on the big water in my 23. Been blowing like stink (up to 38kt gusts) out of the north all week but might ease a bit next week. Hopefully it'll be good while you're there. Mark Dvorscak

Hi all,
If all goes as planned, I will have my M17 "Pajarita" in Siltcoos lake from late July to late August (27th to 27th, give or take a few days either end).
Siltcoos is about 8 miles south of the town of Florence on the Oregon coast, and is the largest of quite a few lakes in that area both north and south of Florence.
I will have a tie-up at Westlake Resort's docks - the resort is adjacent to the south side of the public boat ramp at the end of Pacific Ave. off highway 101 (east off 101; west side of the lake).
Give a shout if you want to meet up for some sailing, whether you've got a Monty (or some other boat) of your own to bring or not.
cheers, John
