On my way to the SCA race in Monterey I ran our M-15 across a Montana State scale. They recorded about 1450 pounds on the trailer wheels. I estimate the tongue weight at 150 pounds, so that totals about 1600 pounds. This was a few hundred more than I thought, but, the scale is probably right. We carried a 2hp Suzuki, two gallons fuel, one Danforth anchor, and maybe 50 to 80 pounds of other stuff. We have towed the M-15 over 5,000 miles with a Honda CRV with a 2-liter engine and 5-speed. A bigger vehicle would definitely be better but we are careful and drive conservatively. Charless Fowlkes Bozeman, Montana M-15 # 312 "Vagabundo"
