David, I have designed a quick and easy 'no-see-um' net (smaller then a mosquito net) for my M-15. When I unpack my boat for the season, I will send you some pictures. Also, I may still have my 'proto-type' that I could send to you. It might be easier to see what I did, if you had a model to look at. It works very well, with these two exceptions. Make sure, there are not annoying bugs trapped inside the cabin before you seal her up and the netting does block some of the airflow from entering the cabin. I have a battery, so I installed a small fan in the cabin for those hotter, stickier nights. I have a couple ore Montgomery 15 questions for the group: 1. I'd like to have something to keep my boom up when the main is down. It eems like a topping lift, a cradle, or a boom kicker could help with this and 'd be interested in people's experiences with any of these things. I think I aw a nice wooden cradle on someone's boat at Lake Havasu but didn't figure out hose it was or find out how well it worked, where it is stored, and if it gets n the way. I have seen discussions about boom kickers but wonder how securely he support the back end of the boom. A topping lift seems simple and effective but could interfere with the head of the main and affect sail shape if not the ight length. I also wonder what material would be best for a topping lift. oes stretch matter? 2. Does anyone have good ways to set up a mosquito net for the cabin? Thanks for any information you fine group of people can provide. The sailing eason is nearly upon us. David Grah ishop, California PS - Stan, thanks for the offer. If I was only a fisherman, I'd be in good hape! I am half thinking I like not having the number on the sail... ______________________________________________ ttp://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats When posting, remember that there is no privacy on the Internet!
