Happy Thanksgiving to all I have posted my first youtube montgomery sailing video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSYnB0sQFXo If you enjoy these, let me know as I can do more over time although most of my cruising video is of sailing in calmer waters, raft ups and sunsets. Let me know your interests. I cannot get my microphones to work with the editing software so I could not do any informative voice over. The Montgomery 23 never came out to play in the waves as her Genoa had shredded the leech tableing. As usual the video does not do justice to the wave height. I have very little video in windy conditions as I usually take the video while sailing single handed. As you can see early in this video that I had to duck a wave spray while sailing. The M15 settled down quickly when hove to and the video is a little more stable after that. The M17 (tan bark sails) has a reef and is doing well. The M15 (white sails) does not have a reef and as the bow gets knocked off the wind by a wave he is frequently luffing the main but driving well through the waves.
