I have a 2008 M17 and it has the openings that you refer to. I too would like to see if anyone has any simple remedy for this. Our aft cockpit locker, which holds the gas tank has small openings on either side wall, at the very top, aft corner. Where the side panels were not fitted up into the coaming. We get a gasoline smell in the cabin from this A project this spring is to close these openings.
Does anybody else have this?
Maybe someone can do a poll on this at Lake Havasu. Check out the newer and the older boats in attendance to see if the aft locker is closed up on either side. You really have to get right down and look up into the locker. Sure wish I was there. Hope it all goes well and everyone has a good time.
Thanks
