I believe someone said they had less than desirable response with an autopilot on a 15, the boat heels measurably when moving onboard causing the compass to over react. Try searching for this here or on FB? My experience with the M15 would find a Tiller Tender type solution to be better answer. Good luck, have fUn, go sailing! Good point
My outboard auxiliary has a tether that stops it if overboard. Since my use of the tiller pilot is for powering in doldrum conditions I will just use this tether and the vessel should stop if I find myself adrift.?
Thanks skipper for the heads up.
BTW I f any of you skippers have suggestions on the installation of a autohelm 1000 on M-15 please share. Like the measurement along the tiller from the pin to the rudder pivot??? Or the location of the electrical plug???

Be careful sailing alone with a tiller pilot! It won’t come back for you!
I'm sure someone is working on an app for that... ;-)
cheers, John
