I have a gas frig in my camper that uses a propane flame to make it cold, so cold we usually end up freezing everything before we get it adjusted correctly. This is crude, but I think the heat source causes the ammonia based coolant to move through the system and using a venturi and a condenser creates "COLD". So I thought that a little unit (just big enough to surround a can) could be placed on the stove and presto "a cold beer". It's reusable and probably less expensive than the IC cans, but I haven't heard of anyone making one. Rick

Your wish maybe close to coming true!!!!??? There is a company making beer with a cooling option.? I watch al ot of educational TV and not long ago, a gentleman was marketing a six pack that was simular to the self heating soup cans, but will cool the beer within 15-30 minutes.? Google "self cooling beer cans".? I think you'll be happy!!
