Wrinkle Boat Mates I am in the process of cleaning and buffing my hull. Hop to splash next Friday slips are in. Last year I had a large white fender attached to the slip alongside the boat for extra protection. It sustained quite a large amount of material from the finder to the hull the cove strip (Forest Green}. My normal cleaning compound using a orbital buffer did not remove it. I have been working by hand on an area 12"x6" for an hour using a substitute for Turpentine less toxic and have made some progress but am looking for a better solution as at this rate I have at least 8-10 hrs. of work in front of me not to mention the fatigue factor on these 83 yr. old muscles. I seem to recall reading somewhere in the past about someone recommending a household product that was a great fiberglass restorer that might work. . Any suggestions are appreciated?
