I'm cringing with envy at the fun that was had on the Chesapeake Bay Cruise this year. I was in the Midwest shilling my boats during that period so unavailable. Meanwhile, Chimpanzee 2 is still ashore, as I had the marina do some paintwork. (That boat finally has a linkable website: _http://www.clcboats.com/folkboat_ (http://www.clcboats.com/folkboat) ) Dealing with a 6000lb boat, and reading the Montgomery accounts, makes me pine for a trailersailer as never before. The interesting cruiser on Page 41 of your travelogue is the Phil Bolger design, "Barn Owl." I think it was built in England and sailed across, and it seems to be very active in these waters, frequenting Annapolis and the West River. There's a chapter about that boat in Phil Bolger's book, "Boats With an Open Mind." Cheers, John C. Harris
