Unless something has happened in the last few years or my memory has collapsed, I think that winches have a pretty standard handle socket size. If the winch in question is original equipment, any standard handle should do. How about taking the top off the winch and taking it down to WM and double-checking? The handles we supplied with the early 17's were of the locking type, but the socket studs were the same. (Bob Campbell has a locking handle he would love to get rid of). Jerry
Do you know where I can buy a winch handle for the c'board winch. I have a "76 M17 & the winch socket is smaller than the winch handles at West Marine.

I've got all kinds of goodies, but most of them are the kinds of things that don't wear out. I have a half-model mold for a Montgomery 12- anyone up for a M-12 half-model? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve R" <stever@mail.saabnet.com> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, September 13, 2002 6:42 AM Subject: Re: M_Boats: Whale pump
Hey Jerry,
Are there any other goodies in your garage?
Enough for an on-line rummage sale?
