I borrowed a copy of that book from Dik Lang and it is FANTASTIC! I will definitely be getting my own copy. -Rusty --- chbenneck@juno.com wrote:
Rusty,
If you have no experience working with fiberglass then get the Gougeon Brothers WEST System Product Guide and Technical Manual book - it's free.
It is an excellent guide to all sorts of repairs; modifications; gel coat repairs; etc. and will give you a firm foundation in how to do the work.
If you go to WEST Marine, they have the WEST System products as well as various other WEST System publications: "Fiberglass Boat Repair and Maintenance" - $3.00; "Gelcoat Blisters: Diagnosis, Repair and Prevention" & "Fairing Guide" each $3.00 (but the price might be higher today. This was from an 1999 WEST Marine catalog).
