i agree with Randy Graves that painting the interior with a HIGH QUALITY home exterior paint is a good fix (i've not done this myself, only read that it is an acceptable application). check out Sailboat Refinishing (International Marine Sailboat Library), by Don Casey. he covers all the painting options (and much more). 'refinishing' can also be found as a sub-section of Don Casey's Complete Illustrated Sailboat Maintenance Manual.
