My father had a 5-8- it was acquired when he was a 'Marine Dealer' - Montgomery dealer of course- he used to tie it on the foredeck of his -- look away Jerry -- Catalina 22 and Midship 25- I think one may fit on the deck of a 17?? He had a 2hp on it (not my style) I like rowing. GO I like the 'discount' comment - DO NOT go into the boat business for cheap boats!! building or selling.
