Thank you Jerry! Can you also tell me about the floatation foam used on this dinghy? There are some blocks of foam in the bow and stern. If I wanted to add more foam what do you suggest?

I recently acquired a 1986 M7-11 sailing dinghy. I smile every time I say this :)
I am in the process of refinishing the teak...I am a little nervous about removing the teak slats on the seats for refurbishing as I am not sure how/what they are screwed into.
Advice?
