Hey Craig and Tod, I was tempted by that M12 too. It looks like a nice boat for the price he was asking. I'm glad you got it Craig. Will you use it as a dink in addition to a sailboat? So today I drove to Ohio and bought 1974 Montgomery 12' number 58 . . .
Thanks again to those who posted notices for it on the list.
The former owner was fantastic: Replaced the trailer lights and repacked the axle bearings, trailered the boat to a halfway point between Cleveland, OH and Lansing, MI, and loaned me his license plate and what must be an out-of-print account of an epic small-boat voyage.
Montgomery owners. They're good people.
