I think a trailer mod that allows full extension of the centerboard without moving the boat is a great idea. Then all you need to do is go to somewhere like the local oil change shop and flip 'em a few bucks to come in at 5pm and take 20 minutes to change out your pendant in their pit....of course....we need the keel able to extend far enough to get to it still...but I think on the 17's it does.
