Hi Montgomery owners, We took our new (to us) 1984 M15 out for a 3 day trip on Lake Pend Oreille over the weekend. It was a lot of fun, our first time sleeping at anchor, 65 miles traveled (some of them even sailing when the wind was blowing!). However, when I got the boat back home and was unpacking it, and checking things, I found a few inches of water in the narrow slot behind the centerboard. I'm not sure how it could have gotten in there since the bottom and everything appears to be in good shape from what I can see with the boat on the trailer. The centerboard seems to work fine (aside from splashing a bit when we raise/lower it which I think is normal from reading the forums). Is having a small amount of water collect there after that length of time an indication of serious problems? Is there anything else that I should check? Thanks! Sam M15 #272
