Dave, Hyde sails are not made in the USA but I am sure you knew that. None better than working with the informative Dr Judy B on your canvas needs. She made M15 # 616 faster :) Karen & Smiley Magoo252@comcast.net -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of montgomery_boats-request@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Tuesday, September 1, 2015 2:00 PM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: montgomery_boats Digest, Vol 151, Issue 1 Send montgomery_boats mailing list submissions to montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit https://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to montgomery_boats-request@mailman.xmission.com You can reach the person managing the list at montgomery_boats-owner@mailman.xmission.com When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of montgomery_boats digest..." I am not sure the upholstery shops in Bishop are adequately experienced and able selecting coverings and doing boat reupholstery, so am hoping to find a good place somewhere in California or Nevada that regularly does this sort of this where I could take the cushions. Would anyone in the group suggest a place to do it? It would be great to hear any experiences you have with going or having this sort of work done as well. Thanks! I used the Sail Ripair tape, and patched it up, but I'll need to replace it fairly soon. I'd be interested in what the group thinks make a good spinnaker, and how they'd replace what I have. I'd really be interested in input from Hyde Sails representative here, and any other M-17 sailors with experience. ------------------------------ Message: 3 Date: Mon, 31 Aug 2015 16:05:25 -0600 From: Dave Scobie <scoobscobie@gmail.com> To: For and about Montgomery Sailboats <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Subject: Re: M_Boats: How 'bout spinakers? The Potter boom cover looks as good as it did when they made it 35 years ago.
