I just went to Ace Hdwr and got a small valve and fittings, cut the end of the hose off(where it would hook to engine, cut off another 6-8" piece, put in the fittings and valve, added the 6" hose. DONE use the standard tank and hose.

August,
Can you point me to more info on the squeeze bulb fuel fill system you have on your Honda 2HP?
I have the same outboard and want to do the remote tank/tube/bulb fill mod.
Thanks,

Mine is long shaft 2 cycle w/internal tank. I like many others have a 3 G remote tank, hose, and valve on the end to fill easily.

Does the 2.5 merc support an external fuel tank and do they offer a long shaft option?
Thanks

I am intending to go with the SoCal Potters on one of their trips to Catalina, and also to tour the San Juans - all in my M15, "Prelude". Is a 4HP 4-stroke a good choice @ 59 lbs, or would a 3.5HP @ 43lbs be better? Right now I have a 2.5 HP 2-stroke, but that is progressively being banned everywhere. Thanks! Bill Hinkel M15 "Prelude"
