Bob Eeg tells me that our new M-23, "Robin's Nest" is nearing completion. I have a slip at the Port Kinsale marina waiting for it. Kinsale is two hours from our home and the area looks like a great place to sail. Kinsale is near where the Potomac meets the bay. See: http://www.portkinsale.com/ My previous boat was an 8' Phil Bolger "Nymph", so I'm gonna have 3 times the number of sails on this boat! I didn't know anything about Montgomery boats until I saw Rick Davies M-17 at the Washington Sailing Marina. Pretty boat - It hooked me. I've been following the messages on inflatables vs. towed [hard] dinghies. My wife (Robin) and I are still pondering this. We have a 17' Folbot (Greenland II) but haven't given much thought to towing something THAT big. We lean towards towing the "Nymph". Hey everyone! This is Theo, M23-Sails Increase owner. I just moved to the Philadelphia area and had to leave my baby behind in Minnesota for now. I'm wondering where or if there are Montys out in this time zone. It's my first spring in 15 years without a sailboat to mess around on.... Thanks!
