Dear M-sailors, I need your help with the following issue. The only outside light my 1982 M-17 has is a tri-colored sailboat light at the top of the mast, which is supposed to be hooked-upto the electrical system via two wires that run through the mast to a connector mounted on the cabin top. The female connector (the one on the cabin top) is still there; it appears to be made of stainless steel, with a stainless steel screw-on cover, and the male connector seems to be also screwing into it. Unfortunately the male connector (attached to the wires coming out of the mast) was lost by the previous owner. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement for this male connector? Who makes them, etc.? This appears to be original on the boat. If this does not work, I need to replace both the male and female plugs. Does anyone have any recommendation for how to remove the existing female plug? It appears to be very solidly glued inside its hole on the cabin top. Recommended replacement plugs? Thanks in advance, Andrei.
