Rick, I am considering a 2hp Honda due to its light weight (my present 4hp yamaha weighs 65 lbs, difficult for an old fart to get on and off). My one concern was vibration. What has been your experience. Regards..Arnold Sharpe M-17 "LITTLE BREEZE" On Aug 7, 2008, at 11:22 AM, JDavies104@aol.com wrote:
I have a 2-hp, 27 lb, Honda long shaft on my M-17, and it has worked great for me for the year I have had the boat. I've never tested it under challenging conditions, but it moves the boat along at 4 kt or so at around half-power. On the lighter M-15, it should work even better, without weighing down the transom.
