Hi Tom, Here's the link to their website. https://sugru.com/ https://sugru.com/blog/16-ways-to-use-sugru-on-your-boat They have videos and fun ideas shared. You can use for marine applications and about anything else you can imagine! You can also blend colors. I used white with a wee pinch of yellow to get the color blend of my boat. For my hard plastic framed solar panel I did not want to screw it down so molded sugru on the sides of the frame to tie down on hatch. Works great in the cabin for misc ideas. Becky Sent from my iPad

The little plastic part was floating around on the end of my line...I secured it with the sugru. If I hadn't had one, I would have molded one out of the sugru.
Yes, that is my topping lift.
Good luck!

Exactly what I need Becky! Where'd you get the little plastic part? And is that a topping lift?

From that description I bet you get a good amount of water. I have an idea brewing for a fix to mediate the issue. Can you share a picture?

Oooh, looking at the pics, mine has been "altered". The corner of the trunk is roughly cut out and the line exits there. It doesn't have the clean, neat plastic sleeve. It's just a biggish hole. Also my winch is to the right of the cleat, so the line has to go over the cleat and then down through the hole.
The water doesn't drain anywhere, just sits on the sole and tries to rot the wood at the base of the v berth. So I towel it out.

FYI folks ... Jazz has an older M17 with a cast iron board and the centerboard pennant comes out of the trunk inside the cabin.
picture linked below shows the setup.
