I have the same masthead as John on my M17 #310. The shrouds have swaged eyes rather than Nicopressed. The original halyards were wire/rope. I replaced them with 1/8" dyneema with 1/4" dacron sleeves (scavenged from old line) over the tail end that gets handled. They fit the original aluminum sheaves ok but I replaced the sheaves with plastic ones to eliminate any possible chafe. FWIW the sheaves are 1-1/2" dia x 3/8" thick w/1/4" bore. Ronstan RF251 fits. Actually I found I had a couple pics of my masthead from back before I redid the standing rigging (this shows the nicopress at masthead that it came with).
Main thing though is you can see the halyards (green for main on starboard, red for jib on port) thru the masthead and sheaves. Can't see detail of the sheaves well in these pics but obviously it all fits thru OK. Couldn't be any wider but is fine as it is.
