Having had some experience with trying to put a ladder on my M15 last summer, the Windline brand is solid. I looked around quite a bit for something to replace the hang-over-the-side ladder I've been attempting to use, and Windline was the best I found. Stainless steel and solid design in the steps (steel not plastic), attachment points as well as the ladder support (so it doesn't flop under the boat). The telescoping ones are worth it. my 2 bits Chris On Thu, Mar 31, 2011 at 9:00 PM, W David Scobie <wdscobie@yahoo.com> wrote:

Doug,
The Windline telescoping ladders are pretty sweet. They make a 3 step model that is available everywhere, and a 4 step model they make for the Potter 19 that is even better. You can order it from International Marine.

I need to add a swim ladder to a non-Montgomery boat. The one on my M15 is fairly short and was thinking of using a 3 or 4 step telescoping ladder.
What is current best choice out there?
Thanks
