We are busy.....with all our boats. 15s, 17s and the 23. People love those bronze opening ports on the M_17. Just finished a few dinghys as well. The Montgomery 7-11 (almost 8 feet long) is also a good looking boat. Anyone that wants to see the 7-11 ...? Or the Bronze ported, tan bark sails M_17? I can send a jpeg of the 7-11 or the M_17... email me directly.... Nice lines..... Fair winds Bob (949) 489-8227 Wayne Yeargain wrote:
I added a bimini to my Hunter 23 (previous boat) and put it on a track, best idea I've ever had. The track gives you a lot of flexibility in locating the thing, either to optimize the shade or to get the thing out of your way when it's down

Darn I thought adding a bimini top for my 1976 m17 was going to be easy. Don, I studied the pictures dutifully, and when I started searching, the measurements were not to bad, the materials (3 different kinds) were not
to
cryptic, and finally choosing a color. Goodness what a selection. But I really got stumped on the placement of mounts. I noticed the M-15s in the pictures did not have a winch, I have 2 on each side. And If the shade is
to
far forward or too far back hmm....how about the stainless package, I dont think its absoulutly necessary but all my sailing is in salt water. Add 60.00+ to the bill,
any comments on or "shoulda have done it differentlys"?

I know you're busy this time of year, Bob. Can you give us a brief update of what's in the molds and on the shop floor? (Of course I'm most interested in hearing about that midwest-destined 23...)
